How to Calculate Screen Distance
All projectors have varying throw distances, calculating the distance between projector and screen is quite simple with the following calculator.
The example below shows an Epson EH-TW550 projector that is available in Australia.
Using the EH-TW550 and a 4m stretch screen at maximum stretch taking the scalloping into account will give you a screen width of 3.8m.
Entering 380 cm at the image size width will give you the projector distance.
You can also enter the distance you have for the projector to screen and the calculator will tell you how much you have to stretch your screen.
